That was pretty neat
I think it means that good writers are able to have an understanding of things outside themselves and provide perspectives other than their own, and can provide readers with a visual understanding of a characters perspective even if the other has never been through what he or she is writing about.
I think that the writer of the quote is saying that writers take topics outside of their comfort zone and bring them into their comfort zone through writing. I think it's saying that authors bring many different thoughts together through their writing in many different ways.
This quote I think is saying is that, the true art of being a good author comes within finding a new topic, idea or perspective that is a bit out of their style. In order to do so, the writer must make a new subject and make it their own. By doing so, they make themselves a better author.
This quote is explaining that authors have the ability to take something unfamiliar and bring their personal thoughts and experiences into a piece of writing in order to make the piece more interesting and powerful to the audience.
Successful writers think of topics or things to write about that has not been thought or written about yet. They think outside the box.
This quote is saying that to be a writer is to change people's view of the normal and strange and if your good enough you can do that and more
I think it means that the best writers can basically turn something that is uninteresting to one to something that is interesting to them.
I think the quote is saying that a writer is not truly great until they can view other perspectives and think in ways that others might not view as normal.
I think the quote is saying that all authors have struggles and no matter how familiar they are they all must get through the battles of the unknown. Kinda showing them their strengths or "power"
I think it means that a writer must be able to reach outside of what they know and what they are comfortable with. They should become knowledgeable about what they don't know and they should question and analyze what they are familiar with. To be able to do this means that they are a good writer.
I think it is supposed to show how a writer must think. They must be able to diversify the simple things they think of. Be able to see from many different point of views and the more they are able to do these things the more they're going to be able to write well.
I think that this quote is supposed to show that there is more to writing than merely putting words down onto paper.
I think the thought behind this quote is powerful writers have the ability to show many different perspectives and they can also make the unimaginable imaginable.
I Think this quote means that writers can view things differently through their writing. The words have different meaning than what they would originally think.
In my opinion, Mr. Morrison is stating that the ability to effect perspective is a quality of a good writer. The ability to transform ordinary to extraordinary, and the ability to make strange situations comfortable, and so on.
In this quote, Toni Morrison is essentially saying that a great writer has the ability to step out of his or her comfort zone and find common parallels to things that are unfamiliar, and question things and look deeper into things that are mundane. I totally agree with this, as writing is more than simply putting words onto paper. There is so much more meaning that not everyone is able to appreciate.

This is inspirational.
a little confusing at first, but when you read it a few times its inspiring.
What Toni Morrison means in his quote is that a writer needs to embrace him/herself to different comfort levels while also bringing elements from the real world to create to the writers own style.
A true writer can write about something other than themselves while still effecting people who have experienced these events and know them well
Imagination is an important component of writing, except for non fiction of course
Inspiring quote. Being able to imagine
A writer can make even the most boring of things seem magic and the other way around
I think what Morrison is saying is that writers can imagine a new topic and situation and make it come alive in a story. Also readers can relate to their work and have ideas themselves about their imagination.
I think that the quote means that authors are able to take themes and experiences that a reader would be unable to experience in real life and make them seem like they are something a reader can relate to but at the same time take an experience that is normally very ordinary and make it suspenseful or interesting to the reader
I think the quote is saying that it takes a lot of strength to reach outside of your own mind and become someone else/see the world from a different view through your writing.
